ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask – FitPack

The ResMed AirFit P10 is one of the lightest CPAP masks ever made — around 50 grams, four parts, and almost nothing touching your face. It is the mask most often recommended to people who feel claustrophobic in a full face mask, and to anyone who just wants to forget they are wearing one.

This is the FitPack, so all three nasal pillow sizes are included. You do not need to guess your size before ordering.

Why the AirFit P10 is still the benchmark

  • Minimal contact – nasal pillows seal at the nostrils, so nothing sits over the nose or across the face.
  • Whisper-quiet woven-mesh vent – diffuses exhaled air through fabric rather than venting it as a jet. One of the quietest masks ResMed makes.
  • Dual-wall pillows – hold their seal as you move rather than collapsing under pressure.
  • QuickFit elastic headgear – slips on over the head with no clips to fasten and no straps to set each night.
  • Flexi-tube – a short, soft tube from the frame that moves with you instead of pulling the mask.
  • Wide field of vision – read, wear glasses or watch television right up to lights out.
  • All three pillow sizes included – Small, Medium and Large in this FitPack.
  • Genuine ResMed product, supplied complete with headgear.

Standard or "For Her"?

The AirFit P10 For Her is the same mask with a smaller size range and pink-accented headgear. The difference is the cushions supplied:

AirFit P10 AirFit P10 For Her
Pillow sizes included Small, Medium, Large Extra Small, Small, Medium
Headgear Standard Pink accents, smaller fit
Frame and tube Identical Identical

Despite the names, choose by nostril size rather than by gender — plenty of men order the For Her pack for the Extra Small cushion, and plenty of women use the standard pack.

Is a nasal pillow mask right for me?

The AirFit P10 suits you if you breathe through your nose during sleep and your pressure is in the low-to-moderate range. It is a particularly good choice if you:

  • feel closed in or claustrophobic wearing a full face mask
  • have a beard or moustache that stops a cushion mask sealing
  • read, watch television or wear glasses in bed
  • sleep on your side or move around a lot
  • want the quietest, least intrusive mask available

It is less likely to suit you if you breathe through your mouth at night, if your nose is often blocked, or if you are on a high pressure — in those cases a full face mask such as the AirFit F40 usually works better. A chin strap can help with mild mouth leak.

Choosing your pillow size

All three sizes are supplied in this FitPack, so you can try them. As a starting point, most people begin with Medium and adjust from there. The pillows should rest against the rim of the nostril, not push up inside the nose — if you are feeling pressure inside your nostrils, the size is too large.

Replacement parts

Nasal pillows are the part that wears. Facial oils gradually soften the silicone and the seal starts to leak long before the cushion looks worn — most people replace them every one to three months. Replacement pillows, headgear and frames are all available separately, so you rarely need a whole new mask.

Frequently asked questions

Do the nasal pillows go inside my nose?

No. They rest against the rim of the nostril and seal there. If you can feel them pressing up inside your nose, try the next size down.

Which pillow size should I use?

All three sizes are in this FitPack. Start with Medium, and move down if you feel pressure inside the nostril or up if you get leaks around the base.

Can I use the AirFit P10 if I breathe through my mouth?

Air will escape through your mouth and reduce the effectiveness of therapy. A chin strap resolves mild mouth leak for some people; if you consistently mouth breathe, a full face mask is the better choice.

Can I use it with a beard?

Yes — this is one of the P10's advantages. Because the seal is at the nostrils rather than across the face, facial hair does not interfere with it.

Will the AirFit P10 work with my AirMini?

Not this version. The AirMini needs the dedicated AirFit P10 for AirMini kit, which uses a different vented frame. We stock it separately.

How do I clean it?

Wash the pillows daily in warm water with a mild liquid soap and let them air dry away from direct sunlight. Wash the headgear weekly. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or scented or antibacterial cleaners, and never machine wash the headgear.

Do I need a prescription?

No prescription is required to order the AirFit P10 from CPAPstudio.

Please read the current ResMed AirFit P10 user guide, including contraindications, warnings and precautions, before using this mask.

Works really well thanks but for what it is ie thin plastic tube and rubbers seals and an elastic band the price is very steep . I feel you are taking advantage of a nessesaty for someone who needs it . But this is across the board for the cpap market

I bought this to see if I could pack and use something smaller tuan my nasal mask. It was a bit of a gamble. After some tweaks and changing sizes around (you get 3 in the pack). I settled on one okay. It is best if you lie at peace in the night, if you turn around much this may not be secure enough on yur face. Im keeping it and will use it.
